Tonia has been in the field for 29 years, working in clinical, research and industry. She has been a volunteer for NCSH for over 10 years in various capacites. She currently works for General Data Healthcare as a Field Support Manager.

Cathy Mathis, HT (ASCP)
Nomination Elections Coordinator
Cathy has been in the field for 40 years working for Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center and Medical School, with a pretty equal split between clinical and research. She currently works in Comparative Medicine at Wake Forest Baptist.
Aurel Alston, HT (ASCP)
Aurel has been in the field for 9 years. She has been a volunteer for NCSH for 5 years and is currently a Team Lead at Duke University Health System.
Teresa Heckman, AAS, HT, QIHC (ASCP)
Exhibits Coordinator/Membership Liaison
Teresa has 32 years in the field in the clinical area. She has volunteered for NCSH for about 6 years and currently works at Carolina Medical Center East as the Histology Supervisor.
Donald Ray Perry, BHS, MLT, HT, HTL (ASCP)
Ray served his country for 10 years in the Army and has been in the field for 20 years working in the clinical setting. He currently is the Anatomic Pathology Manager at Womack Army Medical Center.
Otis Lyght, HT, QIHC (ASCP)
Otis has been in the field for 44 years to include clinical and research. He has served as a volunteer for NCSH for 17 years. He is currently working as a govenment contractor at NIEHS as a Senior Histologist/Biologist.

INFORMATION FOR VOLUNTEERS: IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES, WE INVITE YOU TO START BY ATTENDING AN EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETING. E.C. MEETINGS ARE OPEN TO ALL NCSH MEMBERS. MINUTES ARE KEPT BY THE SECRETARY AND PUBLISHED ON THE NCSH WEBSITE. PLANNING THE SPRING MEETING BEGINS IN EARNEST IN THE FALL. WHILE THERE IS A LARGE TIME COMMITMENT EACH YEAR SURROUNDING THE SPRING MEETING, THE SOCIETY IS EAGER TO PUT YOUR TALENTS AND ENTHUSIASM FOR HISTOLOGY TO USE YEAR ROUND!
